Honorary Member of ICCA
Founder and former owner of ICS, Lars Christensen, has been appointed Honorary
Member of ICCA, International Congress and Convention Association. Lars received
the honour at ICCA´s recent General Assembly in Leipzig, Germany.
ICCA is the global organization for the meetings industry, and counts PCO´s,
Convention Bureaux, Convention Centres, Airlines etc. among its one thousand
members world wide. Lars Christensen served on their Board of Directors as Vice
President for six years.
ICS was founded in 1987 and Lars has assisted with the practical organisation of
more than 800 international meetings and events. He now serves as chairman of ICS
and works on some special projects for ICS.
