The Danish movie Hævnen (In a better world) by the director Susanne Bier won the Oscar for Best Foreign film in February,  2011. This is the third time that a Danish movie wins such prestigious award.

This award reconfirms the Danish trend: Modern, innovative and creative.

During one week in August (from 19 to 28 precisely), the culinary festival "Copenhagen Cooking" highlights the good food & drinks on the agenda, not only in Copenhagen but the Oresund area -Regions of Denmark and Sweden.  A tribute to the Nordic cuisine, with special emphasis on the excellent local produce and fusion techniques.

ICS is now presenting the green/blue line in Copenhagen

Green Line program is including certified Green Key hotels, organic restaurants, flower gardens and eco-friendly activities. Most of the restaurants and activities suggested are located on walking distance from the hotels but it is also possible to use bicycles, subway and trains for the different transfers.

Blue Line program offer a specific view from Copenhagen. Water is the theme of this program including seaside hotels and restaurants, boat tours and water activities.
